The Employment and Skills Board is delighted to announce its involvement in the Lincolnshire & Rutland Work Based Learning Awards 2009.

As part of our commitment to champion local excellence, the Board is working in partnership with the LSC and the Work Based Academy and others to manage this year's prestigious Awards.

The Awards include 'Young Apprentice of the Year', 'Personal Achiever of the Year' and 'Employer of the Year', and present opportunities for local young people, adult learners and employers to progress through to high-profile regional and national recognition.

The awards will be presented in the New Year at an exciting celebration ceremony and more news follows soon.

Said board member Geoff Middleton of e-QAS Training: "This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the huge achievements of local people,  employers and work based learning providers - demonstrating the great opportunities that can be created through vocational pathways. Our area has an excellent track record - regionally and nationally, punching 'well above our weight'.  In short, we're good here, we intend to stay good, and we look forward to celebrating being good!'
