Board members from the recently formed Lincolnshire & Rutland Employment and Skills Board are taking part in a review of the current strategy for getting long term unemployed people back into work in the county.

They are being briefed by renowned economist Prof Glyn Owen who is coming to the session with other consultants working for EMRA as part of a scrutiny of current provision commissioned by East Midlands Development Agency.

It’s an example of how the Board will be providing input and employer perspective over coming months to ensure money is attracted and spent well in the county.
